29 motorcycles, 3 support vehicles and a total of 43 people
The Morocco Adventure was one to remember!
From Casablanca to Marrakech, on a unique itinerary who guided the Explorers twice across the Atlas Mountains, all the way to the Sahara Desert.
Magical cities like Fez and Merzouga, UNESCO World heritage sites like the adobe village of Aït Ben Haddou, unbelievable landmarks like the Todra Gorge, the Arfoud oasis, the Dades Gorge, or the view point of Timzzillite and the World famous, picture-perfect twisty road that leads to it.
And then again unbelievable views, friendly but mysterious people in their traditional costumes, colorful markets and delicious food. And the experience of an unforgettable caravan march among the sand dunes at sunset, on camel backs (actually, dromedaries…) to top it off?
Morocco delivered, day after day and turn after turn.
The numbers speak volumes: travelers from 18 different Countries, 5 motorcycle brands, 6 days on the road, more than 1500 kilometers… thousands of pictures and tons of fun.
None of this would have been possible, though, without months of planning back at the office in Italy, without the sharp job of the Spanish promoters at OrganizaDOS.net and the invaluable support and logistics of GIVI importer for Morocco, Mob Shop.
The Morocco Adventure, with its changing weather conditions and wide range of temperatures, was the perfect testing ground for some of the new GIVI products, like the modular X.33 a flip-up full face helmet dedicated to adventure touring. It surely wasn’t an easy week for the pre-production prototypes that all Explorers were wearing, but the data and suggestions collected at the end of the trip were invaluable and the final production will definitely improve over an already very good base!
